I love having direct tv in my office but it’s probably the worst thing for my productivity since deciding to work from home. I love being part of a group but it’s tough when I’m doing things like balancing the laundry and my work and conference calls. Sometimes I think I should strike out on my own and just open up a consulting shop but I feel like that would be even more work and it’s all I can do to work as hard as I do now with all the distractions at home. I can tell you everything that comes on TV from 9 in the morning until 5 in the afternoon on every channel and I don’t know that that’s a good thing. I mean, I relish that I have a flexible schedule and can start on dinner at 3pm if I want to but at the end of the day you definitely lose something by not working in an office with other people. I miss being more productive than I am.
